About the Young Social Entrepreneurs Programme
The Singapore International Foundation (SIF) makes friends for a better world. We believe that cross-cultural interactions strengthen understanding, inspire action and enable collaborations for good. The SIF’s Young Social Entrepreneurs (YSE) programme seeks to inspire, equip, and enable youth of different nationalities to launch or scale up their social enterprises in Singapore and beyond.
Since 2010, the YSE programme has nurtured a global network of youth with innovative business ideas focused on social good, which has grown to over 1,200 alumni from 577 social enterprises, representing 39 nationalities. Together with established social entrepreneurs, business consultants, and investors, they harness the power of ideas, know-how, and resources to effect systemic, sustainable change for a better world.
YSE 2020 Programme
YSE kicked off its 2020 edition as a digital experience, undeterred by restrictions imposed by the pandemic to continue nurturing young global changemakers. YSE 2020 ran for eight months comprising an intensive online series of webinars and business clinics, customised mentorship, regional learning opportunities, and a final pitch for funding.
