FSES Impact Venture Day 2024 / B

It is our great pleasure that Fullness Social Enterprises Society (FSES) invites you to attend the FSES Impact Venture Day, funded by the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund). This inaugural event is scheduled for 20 November 2024 (Wednesday) from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at the Cordis Hong Kong, Mong Kok.

In the past 12 years, FSES has made a profound impact on building and catalysing social entrepreneurship development and city transformation in Hong Kong, cultivating social enterprises from idea inception to scale-up and diffusing into the business market. We are currently orchestrating over 200 social enterprises or social innovation projects that raised over HK$40 million from government, family foundations, philanthropies, the corporate world, and individual investors; and more than HK$100 million in ethical consumption spending was generated. Adopting the study from the SIE Fund in 2023, their funded projects turn HK$1 of the grant into HK$5.58 worth of social impact and FSES is one of the contributors.

We aim to drive impacts in enhancing well-being and promoting social inclusion and integration for societal betterment. The forthcoming Impact Venture Day is to facilitate bold discussion among thought leaders on driving positive city transformation through impact investing in solidarity. The event will include:

• Keynote by Dr. Joseph Chan, Co-founder and Chairman of Fullness Social Venture to address the demands of a spirit of solidarity where partnership between corporations and social enterprises unite with interdependent relationships, each leveraging their unique strengths and this opens a new pathway for collective prosperity.

• Panel Discussion moderated by Ms. Linda Chan, Co-founder of Fullness Social Venture will highlight the latest trends and opportunities of investing for a collective future to benefit the society and unlock future profit pools. Solidarity expands the choice beyond profit maximisation. Shared infrastructure and capabilities help both economic and social impacts accelerate to achieve outcomes greater than the sum of their parts.

• Social Impact Pitch Competition – Grand Final will be one of the highlights of the event, where innovative social ventures will present their solutions to critical social issues. This competition serves as a platform for these organisations to showcase their ideas and receive feedback from a panel of expert judges.
