A student-led SDG Summit to Collaborate for Local Action and a Global Impact on the UN Sustainable Development Goals – hksdgsummit.com
The CDNIS Global Goals Clubs (GGC) Council is organizing the first-ever student-led SDG Summit for March 27. The summit theme is Local Action for a Global Impact on the SDGs and aims to provide a unique opportunity for networking, presenting and collaborating among Hong Kong students and NGOs, in efforts towards achieve the 17 UN SDGs. This event will run online Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 8:45am to 13:30pm and is for upper school students and teachers who are currently, or interested to take action in Hong Kong
You will:
- Hear from a panel of industry experts on ‘Collaboration: The Magic Ingredient for Impact’.
- Take part in an array of NGO workshops, talks, simulations and discussions, led by 11 of Hong Kong’s most impactful organisations.
- Be inspired by Forbes 30 Under 30, Melati Wijsen, the co-founder of Bye Bye Plastic bags and Youthtopia.
- Collaborate for action on one of four Hong Kong case studies.
