Creating social impact is one of the common goals for academia and NGO practitioners. Scholars, researchers and NGO practitioners engage themselves in different research and projects to address the needs of society. Programme evaluation and social impact assessment are crucial processes in visualising the effectiveness and social implications of the project.
In light of this, it is our great pleasure to announce that with the funding support from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the CUHK-Nankai Joint Research Centre of Social Policy and the Department of Social Work of the Chinese University of Hong Kong will co-organise a two-day online International Conference on ‘Programme Evaluation and Social Impact Assessment’ on 21-22 October 2021 (Thursday – Friday).
締造社會效益是學術界和非政府機構工作者共同追求的目標之一。學者、研究人員和非政府機構工作者透過參與不同的研究和項目，以回應社會的需求。項目評估和社會效益檢測正是把項目的有效性和社會影響視像化的關鍵過程。
鑑於此，我們很高興與大家分享，在香港賽馬會慈善信託基金的資助下，香港中文大學-南開大學社會政策聯合研究中心和香港中文大學社會工作學系將合辦為期兩天的「項目評估與社會效益檢測」線上國際會議。
