Job Description
The Role
You will be required to support the project teams in project execution and operation by:
- Executing advocacy campaigns and service projects
- Implementing promotional plans
- Preparing presentation and desktop research materials
- Draft correspondence and reports
- Maintaining good relationships with external partners such as research institutions, corporates, government departments, NGOs, schools, volunteers, donors, and various community stakeholders
- Complete projects through timely monitoring progress according to priorities and objectives, problem-solving, and constantly making appropriate adjustments to plans to reach goals
- Drafting social media posts under supervision on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube
- Providing administrative support and assisting in ad-hoc tasks or projects
The Person
You will have a diploma or a degree in public policy, public affairs, journalism, social sciences, or related disciplines, combined with a desire to work in the nonprofit and charity sector:
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese to meet the demands of project implementation and coordination
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
- Positive attitude and willing to learning
- Excellent work ethics
- Good team player and good interpersonal skills - able to work productively with external parties
- Good time management and attention to details
- Effective interpersonal skills, and able to work productively with multiple parties
